Dana Dachelet joined Fischer, Goldasich & Aughtman, LLC as an associate in 2007. At Fischer, Goldasich & Aughtman, Dana’s practice includes a variety of civil litigation matters in state and federal court with an emphasis upon complex commercial and business litigation, insurance fraud and bad faith, commercial trucking litigation, premises liability cases and automobile accidents.
Prior to joining Fischer, Goldasich & Aughtman, Dana worked as an associate at The Lamb Firm, LLC where she represented classes of individuals injured by pharmaceuticals and environmental hazards, while also counseling clients in products liability litigation and other personal injury actions.
Dana received her undergraduate degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in History and minors in English and Philosophy. Dana received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2005.
While attending law school, Dana served as the senior research assistant to Charles W. Gamble and assisted in the editing and production of McElroy’s Alabama Evidence and Gamble’s Alabama Rules of Evidence. Dana also worked in the law school’s Civil Law Clinic where she represented University of Alabama employees and students and members of the community unable to secure legal services in various civil matters. During law school, Dana was also a member of the Public Interest Institute where she earned the Dean’s Community Service Award.
Dana is a member of the American Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar. She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
